Chorister cassock

Physical Description
The chorister cassock is made of black woven heavy weight cotton with a buttoned front - five buttons to the waist - a mandarin collar with full length sleeves. The garment is repaired on the right front seam in three places and has a tear on the right shoulder. Two names are written with black marker - K. Atherton and T. R. 
Historical Details
This chorister cassock was worn with a white surplice (SJC2019.5a) up to c.1958. This cassock was worn by K. Atherton and T. R, members of the Junior Choir.
