Historical Details
The ornate carved rector's prayer desk was gifted by Emily Martin in memory of the Gleadow family. See linked biography. Dating a little uncertain, likely 1915-20. It seems likely that the donor was Emily Susannah Martin (nee Gleadow), a daughter of John Ward Gleadow, even though she died in South Yarra in 1918.Materials
