Christive Elizabeth Jones died in 1912. See linked biography. While Jenny Gill attributed the carving to Hugh Cunningham in her 1988 book, Engraved in Memory, a newspaper article from 1912 reports that it was carved by Nellie Payne - famous for her work in many settings across Tasmania.The embroidered kneeler cushion was worked by Mrs. H. Holyman.
