Physical Description
Carved timber communion table (also known as altar) in chapel sanctuary. No inscription other than the carved IHS on the front centre panel.
Note in records of the late Jenny Gill - "Given by four communicants".  Gill also attributed the carving to Gordon Cumming, although at that early date, it could also have been Hugh Cunningham.
Historical Details
The communion table was likely was one of several items contributed to the furnishing of the chapel in the years following the dedication of the extension in 1911. No date is recorded for this object, and there is no faculty (diocesan permit) found for it to date.
