Physical Description
The bishop's chair, the gift of Mrs. Read and Miss Harrap, is a portable chair in the style of a "faldstool", and traditionally is used by a bishop when presiding away from his cathedral.

Historical Details
Donated by Edith Read and Ada Harrap, the chair was dedicated on 8th July 1928. A note by the late Jenny Gill attributes the needlework on the cushion to Mrs. Hazel Holyman.
