Biography

Henry Button (1829-1914), journalist and author, was involved in the printing and publishing of newspapers in colonial Launceston, becoming the proprietor of The Examiner newspaper from 1887 to 1898. A more detailed biography can be found in Australian Dictionary of Biography - link below.
