Biography

Jeanette Maria Neilley (nee Higgins) (circa 1800-1881) was born in England and came to Van Diemen's Land with her husband, Willilam, who was a military officer. Their home was Rostella, on the East Tamar, and they were involved in the founding of St. Matthias Church, Windermere. Jeanette died at Brighton, Victoria in 1881.
