Biography
Alfred Septimus Lakin (1864 - 1932) was a son of Frederick and Emily Lakin [linked]. He moved to Ulverstone where he was a general storekeeper and acquired several properties and houses in the district.
He married Annie Sophia Frampton, daughter of Frederick Look Frampton and Elizabeth Jane Thomas Hingston, on 27 June 1889 at All Saints Church, Forth. One of their three children, Ruby Friend Lakin, was born in Ulverstone 16 May 1890.
At the time of his death, he was a much appreciated warden of the local Ulverstone council. See linked obituary.
He died in 1932 and was buried on 12 September 1932 at Ulverstone.
