Historical Details
In 1951, Canon Greenwood and the church wardens, H.B. Brownrigg, F.J. Jones and F. Cookman donated a brass crosses for the chapel sanctuary.
According to notes left by the late Jenny Gill, it was one of a pair, but the provenance she listed for the main church sanctuary cross suggests it was a much later addition. See linked item ASJ2023.55
Nevertheless, the two crosses appear identical.
