Biography

Marion Bennett (1844 - 1935) was a daughter of Henry Bennett, little is known of her life beyond the donation of a window for the chapel in her father's memory during the building extensions at St. John’s, from 1901 to 1911. The subject of the window is ‘Christ blesses the little children’. Some years later William Ring Bennett gave the Tasmanian oak pews in the nave of this same church in memory of his aunt, Marion Bennett.
