Biography

CEBS - Church of England Boys Society, CEBS was introduced to St. John’s through the efforts of the Rev. Lancelot Frederick Benjafield, assistant curate 1934-36. Despite periods of extended breaks and the dark chapter identified in the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, CEBS played a leading role in raising up community and church leaders over several decades.
