1930s-the-dome The mosaic in the centre of the dome was added in 1937, the gift of Alexander North, architect of the magnificent structure.

1938 ca Sunday School Part of collection of photos, lantern slides and negatives belonging to Harold B Brownrigg, this view may in fact date from earlier in the century. The front parts of the building were converted into motel units in the 1970s, and leased to the Colonial Motor Inn.
1938-demolition-and-rebuilding-of-nave-6 1937 rebuilding of south wall of nave, encasing the old 1824 within the new brick facing. This view clearly shows the unity between the present interior arched wall, and the remnant of the western end which is still visible today.
